Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were very big and comfortable, although a bit too hot at times. However, for the same price as other hotels, I lucked out with a room that had a terrace offering a great view of the landscape. The room itself was a good size with a private bathroom.
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The rooms were cozy and had a hot tub right outside with a fantastic view. The service was top-notch with helpful staff. The location was amazing, close to various activities and surrounded by beautiful wilderness. The dining options were good, offering a nice view of the river. However, it was a bit pricey considering the standard amenities offered.
Upon arriving from Seattle on our way to Helsinki, Finland, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and impeccably clean rooms with a view to die for, all at a fraction of the price compared to other options. The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist. The location, while ideal for exploring the area and potentially witnessing the Northern Lights, had some noise issues due to its proximity to the stairs. However, dining was exceptional, offering a delightful buffet and breakfast options that exceeded our expectations. Overall, a great value for money stay with excellent amenities.
The hotel offered a cozy log cabin feel by the Ranga River, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. However, the small and anonymous setup did not quite match the steep price, a bit unexpected after a journey from Seattle en route to Helsinki Finland and Northern Finland.
The hotel offers a mix of luxury and coziness. The rooms, although not luxurious, were good-sized despite some holes and tears. The service was fantastic, with friendly and accommodating staff ready to assist in organizing excursions. The location, though small, is a great base to explore the Golden Circle, with the added advantage of a chance to see the Northern Lights. The dining experience, while having plenty of options, had some overpriced and dated choices. Overall, a place with potential but needing some improvements.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious with a balcony, but felt a bit stuffy and outdated. The beds were comfortable though. The service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond to arrange activities and excursions. The location was convenient for exploring Iceland but lacked prompt updates on aurora sightings. The dining experience was impressive, offering a variety of well-prepared selections. The facilities were decent, but some areas felt a bit tired.
